How do the fittings work?
We will book you in for your first fitting 6 - 8 weeks before your wedding day. During the first fitting we will discuss the alterations you need.
How do I book?
To secure your fitting date drop me an email at info@thelaureltree.co.uk and I will get you booked into my online diary. After your first fitting you will receive a quote via email you then need to confirm you are happy to go ahead and pay 50% of the alteration costs. The final balance will be due at your last fitting this can be paid by bank transfer prior to the fitting or by card when you collect your dress.
Can I bring a friend or family member with me?
I work from home so space is limited, I appreciate you keeping the numbers low, with one guest.
Do you only do Wedding dresses?
I alter all types of occasional wear, including - party dresses and suits. Check out the services page or contact me for more info.
How much will my alterations cost?
Most wedding dress alterations fall between £300 - £450, depending on the style of dress and the alterations you need.
Are you insured?
Yes, I am fully insured with public liability insurance.
What do i need to bring with me?
You will need to bring the underwear and shoes you will be wearing on your wedding day to ensure the perfect fit.
Accessibility
Please park on my drive or outside my house on the dropped kerb. Please be aware my fitting room is upstairs on the first floor. Let me know in advance if this is an issue.
